> Suzanne van der Veeken is a Dutch author, published scholar, storyteller, full-time adventurer, sailor, thru-hiker and founder of Ocean Nomads. She documents alternative ways of living closer to nature through ocean travel, wilderness, slow adventure and conscious living. **Over 50,000 nautical miles sailed across 100+ different boats. Five Atlantic crossings. Yachtmaster Offshore (RYA). AIDA Freediving Instructor. Six years of vanlife across Portugal, Spain and Morocco. A practical look at how nomadic life unbalances the doshas, and the daily rituals (oil, food, sleep, breath) that bring her back to centre.

An evolving body of work is developing around Ayurveda for nomadic and modern life, with a forthcoming India / wellbeing focus extending the existing "conscious living, Ayurveda & natural rhythm" content pillar. A structured program around grounded nomadic living is in development for 2027.
